I am Vinicius Ferreira Barth, an Illustrator based in Curitiba. My passion for illustration began at a very young age, and as a teenager, I participated in the Comics course at the Juvenile Center for Plastic Arts. Later on, I had the opportunity to enhance my skills in Drawing and Photography at the General San Martín Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, where I lived for a few years.

Since 2012, I have been dedicated to illustration, initially in an informal way, illustrating poems for my first book, "92 Recipes for the Same Vinaigrette Sauce," published by Contravento Editorial in 2019 and reissued by Kotter Editorial in 2020. In collaboration with Professor and Poet Guilherme Gontijo Flores, I also released the book "Pripyat" through Contravento Editorial in 2019.

In 2021, I decided to fully commit to illustration and completed my training as an Illustrator at EBAC - British School of Creative Arts and Technology in 2023. My style of work is detailed and precise, exploring various techniques, from ink to digital drawing, colored pencils to pastels. I am strongly influenced by other forms of art, such as literature and music.

In addition to illustration, I hold a Master's and Ph.D. degree in Literary Studies from the Federal University of Paraná and had the opportunity to be a scholarship student at the University of Lisbon for one semester. As a writer, I have two published books, and I have also worked as a translator, bringing to the public a complete and unpublished translation of the Hellenistic epic "Argonautica" by Apollonius of Rhodes. I am the editor of R.Nott Magazine, an independent digital art and culture magazine that I founded in 2013. You can check it out at www.rnottmagazine.com.
